Maine Eastern Railroad - Rockland, ME The Maine Eastern Railroad is a unique tourist passenger train service of the Morristown & Erie Railroad serving the midcoast region of Maine. The line runs from Brunswick and Rockland and operates seasonal passenger and sightseeing rail service along the Midcoast area. The restored vintage railcars offer a carefree journey with spectacular scenery of classic seaside villages, picturesque sailboats, lobstermen working their traps on the bay, tidewater wildlife and in autumn, magnificent foliage. Service begins in May and continues through the fall, with special holiday trains in December. The service offers a number of popular sightseeing and special travel packages online. The Maine Eastern Railroad service operates Wednesday through Sunday. |
